Benefits of an Estate Planning Lawyer

Administrator:

An administrator is a person who is appointed by law in the State of New Jersey, who is not named in a will. An administrator tells you that there is no will. That administrator has the duties and the jobs that an executor has, that is to say distribute the properties and to marshal the assets of the estate and to make sure that everyone gets what they’re supposed to get. An administrator, of course, has to be bonded, which is a cost to the estate and it follows the dictates of the law according to the way in which the property is to be distributed. An executor on the other hand is someone who is appointed under the will of someone. And the executor, of course, is following the dictates of the will that he’s appointed under. And that’s what the difference is between the two.
